How The Contest Works
1. Pay Your Contest Fee
The contest fee is now half price, so act quickly! Once you pay, you’ll receive an email with a link to download all our contest beats. Choose a beat and record your contest video.

2. Record Your Rap Contest Video
You can record your video and upload it to your YouTube channel or any social media platform of your choice. Then, copy and paste the link to your Rap Contest page or the main activity feed.

3. We Produce Your Rap Contest Video
If you’re in the DMV area, we can record a video of you rapping to our contest beat. If you’re not in our area, you can send us your videos, and we’ll produce a professional video for you. We will upload your contest video to our channel. Once your video is uploaded, copy the link to your contest page. Additional recording fees will apply.

4. Earn 200 Mics & Complete Your Profile Page
“Mics” are points. The more you engage on the site, the more Mics you earn. You need at least 200 Mics and a completed profile page to move to the next round. A completed page includes a picture, cover image, and bio. Adding your social media links and following others is a plus to move you higher in the contest. Click here to see how you earn Mics.

5. Contest Interview
Once you’ve completed the above steps, you’re ready for Round 2: the contest interview. This will be an online interview with questions and answers you will know in advance. We will play your contest video, review it, and discuss your performance. At the end of the interview, you can share where others can find more about you and your music and give shout-outs.

6. Upload Your Interview
Your contest interview will be uploaded to our channel with over 50k subscribers and sent to you for posting. The person with the most views, comments, and likes will win $500 and be able to move to the next rounds.
